Bluetooth is a wireless standard using short wavelength radio transmissions. The protocol operates in the band at 2.402-2.480 GHz and divides the band into 1 MHz wide channels (79 channels). To avoid interfering with other protocols using 2.45 GHz band bluetooth protocol changes channels many times per second (usually 1600 times per second).
